Hier wordt in de lente de fijnste Tencha geproduceerd, geteeld uit de Cultivars Yabukita en Okumidori. Nadat de thee voor 3 weken wordt afgedekt worden de bladeren geoogst, kort gestoomd, gesorteerd en dan gedroogd.
Tencha bladeren worden, in tegenstelling tot Sencha's of Gyokuro's niet gerold zodat zoveel mogelijk van zijn inhoud bewaard blijft tijdens het malingsproces. Deze verfijnde bewerking proef je in je tas als een volle smaak met lichte kruidige tinten zonder een overweldigende bittere nasmaak. Het poeder is fel groen.

100 % Japanse matcha
- opgieten met water van 75° - 80°C
- gebruik 2 à 3 gram matcha poeder
