Thee uit Georgië heeft een lange traditie en zijn héél moeilijk om te bemachtigen. We zijn dus dolblij om deze traditie te hervatten. Er wordt al sinds midden 19de eeuw thee geteeld in Georgië. De theeplanten zijn geïmporteerd uit China en maken een zachte maar aromatische thee. Dit kwaliteitsvol blad is afkomstig van wild groeiende theeplanten. Zijn blad textuur is een matte zwart met lange blaadjes en een eventuele tip. Zijn infusie is zoet met een warm aroma en een fruitige smaak.

zetmethode:
- voor een pot van een liter: 12-15 gram (een soeplepel met een klein bergje)
- per tas: 3 gram (een theelepel zonder bergje)
- opgieten met water van 90 tot 95°C
- 3 à 4 min laten trekken
