Maté Groen Classic
Maté wordt al eeuwen doorheen verschillende landen in Zuid–Amerika gedronken als geneesmiddel. Hoewel maté niet van de camellia sinensis (theeplant) komt bevat hij wel grote hoeveelheden theïne. zo'n 60% van wat een kop koffie zou bevatten. Deze hoge theïne gehaltes creëren ook een honger onderdrukkend effect. Traditioneel wordt de opwekkende maté gedronken met een rietje genaamd bombilla van uit een uitgeholde Kalebas.

Maté argentina
- voor een pot van een liter: 12-15 gram (een soeplepel met een klein bergje)
- per tas: 3 gram (een theelepel zonder bergje)
- opgieten met water van 90 tot 95°C
- 3 min of langer laten trekken
