FRANS ITALIAANS
Frans Italiaans, ook wel HOOG genoemd is één van onze donkerste roasts. Deze koffie heeft een zeer romige, bijna boterachtige textuur met een gerookte toets. Zijn hoge roast geeft hem een scherpe nasmaak wat haar perfect maakt voor espresso's met te zetten.
HOOG komt natuurlijk van zijn hoge branding, een karakteristiek van traditionele Franse koffie. Italiaanse koffies zijn ook hoog gebrand maar vallen onder een compleet andere smaakgroep. ze hebben een zeer romige textuur met gerookte hinten. Franse koffie daarentegen doet denken aan de zoetige bitterheid van pure chocolade. Ze hebben ook vaker een heel sterke, scherpe smaak. Italiaanse koffie vindt zijn sterkte het meest terug in zijn aroma en textuur.
