Yunnan Pu Erh Palace
Pu Erh Palace was vroeger zeer kostbaar, zozeer dat enkel de keizer dagelijks van deze drank kon genieten. Vandaar werd de variant van Pu Erh 'Palace' of 'Gong Tin' genoemd naar het paleis van de keizer. Haar lichtere infusie deed ook denken aan het goud dat het keizerlijk paleis versierde. Vanwege haar rijke geschiedenis wordt Palace nog altijd als de hoogste kwaliteit van Pu Erh gezien hoewel hij iets toegankelijker is geworden. Hij heeft een zoete maar pittige smaak met een krachtig ‘aardeachtig’ aroma.
